When kids can join the middle school team?

• Since we are a club sport governed by PIHL and USA Hockey and middle school is considered a 14U league (non-checking), players must be 2nd year 12U. Some 6th graders can play, but usually 7th graders are our 1st-year players. The middle school team is made up of players in grades 6, 7, and 8.

What grades are JV and Varsity?

• JV and Varsity are made from grades 9, 10, 11, and 12. Team placement will be decided on after evaluations take place.

When do sign-ups typically happen?

• We open registration in early April and evaluations are usually held in mid-late May. We will post a save the date on our website and social media when they are finalized.

What is the process to join?

• The registration paperwork can be found in the document section of this site. For the 24-25 season we are hopefully moving to electronic registration. The will be a registration link posted the all CVHC social media sites, start watching for it in early April.
